Fortitude Valley Vet is a cosy veterinary clinic in trendy Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, that prides itself on providing high quality veterinary care at affordable prices. We are family-owned, serving the areas of Newstead, Teneriffe, New Farm, Brisbane, Spring Hills, Winsdor, Herston, Bowen Hills, Red Hill, Paddington, Petrie Terrace and surrounding suburbs.

Dr Nic

Dr Nic is the Head Vet at Fortitude Valley Vet. He's a small animal vet and a graduate of Murdoch Veterinary School. He also holds a Bachelor of Wildlife Biology from the University of Queensland.


While working in Melbourne, Dr Nic worked with several shelter and pound organisations that re-homed unwanted dogs, cats and rabbits. He's passionate about community engagement: helping others enhance their relationship with their pet and keeping pets healthy. To this end, Dr Nic has built a following over a number years on various social media platforms to help pet owners embrace the pet-filled life. His YouTube channel, NicFoundLand, in particular his 'How To...' section, is widely-followed and has over 7 million views.
Prior to becoming a vet, Dr Nic worked closely with animals for over 15 years. He lives with his young family that includes one staffie, one JRT, one Westie, one rescue ragdoll and one rescue guinea pig.

Dr Nic is also fluent in Mandarin and Chinese.
